Our publication scheme is divided into two parts to help you find the information you are looking for.

Who are we and what we do

Our Trust Board and senior staff
Our Board consists of a Chairman, Chief Executive, six executive members and six non executive members. Details of the Board members can be found here.

What we spend and how we spend it

Annual Statement of Accounts
Our annual accounts are published as part of our Annual Report for each year. Our financial year runs from 1 April to 31 March. Annual reports can be found in our publications section.

Auditor’s Annual Report
Our external auditors publish and annual report alongside our annual accounts. Copies can be found in our publications section.

Budgets and variance reports
Budget information is published in papers for Trust Board meetings.

Contracts and tendering
The Trust follows the Tendering and quotation procedure

Staff pay-and-grading structures
Annual report and accounts include information on total pay budgets and remuneration for our Board. Gender pay gap information is publishes as separate annual reports. Copies can be found in our publications section.

The NHS Careers website contains information about the pay-and-grading structures for ambulance service staff, managers and the healthcare team.

Priorities and performance

Annual reports
Annual reports look back at the previous year’s performance against operational and financial targets. All are published on our publications page.

Aims and objectives
Our latest five year strategy sets out our key aims and objectives. It is published on our publications page.

Strategies
Our corporate and clinical strategies and other key documents are on our publications page.

Performance against targets
Details of our performance are published as part of our regular public Board meeting papers. NHS England also publish monthly data on ambulance services performance.

Care Quality Commission reports
The CQC carries out independent assessments of the performance of all NHS organisations. Our latest inspection report can be found on the Care Quality Commission website.

How we make decisions

Our Trust Board meets every two months in public

Patient and public involvement
We are committed to patient and public involvement. More information is in our Get involved section. Annual reports also provide information on engagement activities.

Policies and procedures 

Specific polices and procedures are available on request through a Freedom of Information request.

Lists and registers

The Government publishes a National Assed Register which includes information on our organisation.

The Register was updated in 2007, and shows the former Ambulance Trust which now make up the South Central Ambulance Service. The Buckinghamshire area was previously part of the Two Shires Ambulance Service. The most relevant pages within the National Asset Register Chapter 11 are:

The services we offer

Our core services are 999 call handling and emergency response, NHS 111 and Patient Transport Services. For details see out What we do section.
