South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) and University Hospital Southampton (UHS) NHS Foundation Trusts are hosting a joint virtual event which aims to give attendees an insight into heart health.

Mark Ainsworth-Smith MBE, consultant pre-hospital care practitioner, SCAS, will be discussing the signs and symptoms of heart attack and cardiac arrest, including guidance on what you can do to improve survival rates.

This will be followed by Richard Jabbour, consultant interventional cardiologist, UHS, presenting on an introduction to interventional cardiology, which deals specifically with the catheter-based treatment of structural heart diseases.
