The SCAS Research Team joined our Public Engagement team at the Vedic Temple Health Event in Southampton on the 2nd July 2023. The Research team were there to deliver the ELSA study screening children aged 3-13 for type one diabetes. The event was a great success with many of the community utilising the opportunity to receive health screening and advise, while the Research Team screened 21 children from the community.
