As part of our ongoing work to help reduce health inequalities, our SCAS Learning Disability Specialist has been working on a new communication booklet to better enable communication between crews and patients.
As part of the development of the booklet, we have worked with The Yume Project to coproduce the booklet. On 25 July, the group came to Newbury Education and Recruitment Centre. The group of adults with learning disabilities explored our vehicles and helped us to take photos for the booklet, with Adam taking centre stage.
We’re hoping the booklet will be in vehicles in the next few months so keep an eye out for them!
