This family event, which showcases the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) Field Gun Competition, also offers many fun-filled family attractions, with entertainment and displays designed to capture the imagination of everyone, whilst giving an insight into HMS Collingwood, Defence Training, the Royal Navy and other Armed and Public Force including SCAS!
David Haswell, Emergency Care Assistant (ECA), said ” The day went very well with lots of interest in the vehicles, equipment and the CPR demonstration with members of the public having a go and getting involved.”
David was joined by Stuart Barbeary, ECA, who worked tirelessly with David on the lead up to the event, organising logistics and staff. George Carr, ECA and CFRs, Leon Ryder, Jane Warwick, Clive Tillbrook helped out on the day talking to the public, demonstrating CPR and showcasing SCAS vehicles.
