Around midnight (Wednesday night/Thursday morning), a major incident was declared in Slough following a fire at the Mosaic Apartments, 26 High Street, Slough, just west of the Brunel junction in the town centre.
The fire is under control with crews managing small fires in the roof spaces.
No casualties have been reported.
Some road and lane closures remain in place in the area and congestion is expected so people are encouraged to avoid the area if possible.
Residents who were evacuated and are unable to return to their homes are being cared for by Slough Borough Council.
