Staff and volunteers spent a busy day at HMS Collingwood Open Day on 1 July with a lot of interest from families wanting to explore the vehicles. Staff and volunteers were able to engage with young people, teaching them how to do CPR throughout the day. Victoria French, Recruitment, had interest from the public about how to become a Paramedic and interest in Emergency Care Assistant roles. SCAS also received thanks and praise from members of the public for helping in an emergency. Craig Hazel and Emma Hayward, Emergency Care Assistants, gave their free time to attend this event and worked tirelessly in the run up on logistics alongside volunteers from SCAS Charity.
